Strong: Born 28 February 1830, near Girard, Erie, PA; Died 3 Jul 1912, Girard, Crawford, KS; (See Strong, 1) They had two children: "Baby" Strong; and George Washington Strong Sr. who married Anna Kelly.

2. Thomas Fowler: Christened 24 September 1803, Gedney, Lincolnshire, England; Died 7 Jul 1867, Loami Twp., Sangamon Co, IL Married Millicent Bowis: Christened 31 December 1803, Irby-in-the-Marsh, Lincolnshire, England; Died after 1874, Loami Twp., Sangamon Co, IL. They had nine children, the first six of whom were born in England. Their children George W., Robert, and Francis all wound up in Crawford County KS. They all probably traveled west with Francis when she went to join her husband. After the death of Thomas Fowler, his wife Millicent moved in with her eldest daughter Millicent Jarrett. (possibly Washington) Fowler, married Mary Brown.

John Bowis: Born about 1766-1770, of Lincolnshire, Enlgand; Died 8 October 1846, Lincolnshire, England; Married 2 March 1790, West Keal, Lincolnshire, England; Melisent (Millicent) Godfrey: Born about 1770. Millicent seems to have a brother, John Godfrey, who with his wife Mary, had a daughter named Millicent, in West Keal, in 1795. It is my belief that they are brother and sister due to the similarity in the ages of their children, their proximity, and of course, the similarity of the names of their children and Grandchildren. The Bowis name also appears "Bowes." John Bowis and Millicent had seven children between 1790 and 1805: Elizabeth Bowis, Mary I Bowis, John I Bowis, Mary II Bowis, John II Bowis, Millicent Bowis who married Thomas Fowler, and Frances Bowis.
