1. Hawise De Quincy: Born about 1178, of Winchester, Hampshire, England; Died 11 February 1222/1223; Married Hugh IV De Vere, fourth Earl of Oxford: Born about 1184, Hatfield, Essex, England; Died 23 December 1263. (See De Vere)

2. Saher De Quincy, Earl of Winchester, Lord of Buckby: Born about 1150, of Winchester, Hampshire, England; Died 3 November 1219/1220, On the way to the Holy Land, Damietta, Palestine; Married before 1173, England; Margaret De Harcourt: Born about 1160, of Hampshire, England; Died 12 January 1234/1235. (See Earls of Leicester) Not only was Saher was a Magna Carta Surety, he is reputed to have been the writer of the Magna Carta.

3. Robert De Quincy, Lord of Buckby: Born about 1100, of Winchester, Hampshire, England; Died 1200 before Michaelmas, England; Married Orabella De Leuchars: Born 1131; Died before 30 June 1202. Robert occurs as a witness to charters of his cousin William the Lion, King of Scotland, from the beginning of his reign in 1165 until about 1182. Robert was a crusader with King Richard Coeur de Lion in 1191 but had returned to England by 1194 when he witnessed a charter at Winchester. His taxes with respect to Buckby were remitted during 1194-97; he paid twenty two marks into the Treasury in 1198 for a writ. Robert and his son Saher attested the foundation charter of Inchaffrsy, in Scotland, early in 1200, but Robert was dead before Michaelmas of that year, when Saher was recorded as Lord of Buckby. Robert and Orabella had three children: Saher De Quincy, an unknown daughter, and Simon De Quincy.

4. Saher De Quincy, Lord of Buckby: Born about 1090/1106, of Winchester, Hampshire, England; Died 1166-69; Married Maud De Saint Liz: Born about 1096, of Tunbridge, Kent, England; Died 1140 or 1158. Saher is probably the grandson of still another Saher De Quincy who witnessed a charter of Guerin son of Gerond, to the monks of Parriere, in William the Conquerer's time. Maud was apparently the only daughter of Simon and Matilda. Saher first appears in the English records at the time of the Northampton Survey, circa 1124-29, as holding two and a half hides and a great virgate of land in Buckby of Aunsel de Chokes. In 1146 he witnessed a charter to the Priory of Daventry as Seerus de Quinci dominys de Daventre. In or about 1155 King Henry II gave land in Buckby to Saher for the service of one knight; he was pardoned for his scutage (literally meaning shield tax, the requirement of lords to provide knights and men at arms to their king's service) in respect of that manor from 1158 to 1164, and for Eynesbury, in Huntingdonshire, during 1161-63. The barons' certificate of 1166 shows Saher de Quincy as holding of Robert de Chokes for one and a half knight's fees (Buckby) and of Walter fitz Robert, of new enfeoffment, for the same service (probably Daventry)
